What are the communication channels to work with the Client Terminal?
Client Terminal requires short-term Internet-connection to send/receive payment packages.

What are the means to ensure the Client Terminal protections?
The Client Terminal protection is ensured by a complex of measures including:
  • User access management;
  • User rights restrictions;
  • Encryption of transferable information;
  • User actions records;
  • Digital signature of payment orders;
  • User authentication is carried out by:
    • Login and password;
    • Personal certificate.

AUB clients receive their unique login and password in PIN-envelops accompanied by other Bank documentations. Clients assign unique personal certificates upon their request.

Certificate authentication ensures high-level security protection. Personal certificates can be stored on client PC or smart-cards. The information flows are encrypted by the session keys which are automatically updated at each server connection. All client actions are chronologically recorded in a read-only registry to avoid any protocol fraud. The bank accepts those payment orders signed by client digital signature.

Can several users manage one account?
Client Terminal enables several users to manage one account simultaneously which makes the service convenient to corporate clients. The bank server may register several users managing one customer account. Every user is assigned different rights. Every registered user may receive individual personal certificate. Only those clients who receive personal digital certificates issued by the Bank certification center are assigned unique digital signature to affix under payment documents. Unauthorized user are allowed to prepare any documents in Client Terminal, however only authorized users can sign payment orders and send them to the bank.

Do you use any external software and how to install it?

Client Terminal utilizes Microsoft and Seagate program components which are widely accessible and downloadable during the Client Terminal installation.

Why do we need personal certificates and what are the system requirements to work with them?
Digital signature legislation, which has been adopted in many countries, makes the digital documents as legally equal as papers. Many countries have adopted the X.509 digital certificates as standard electronic passports.

Client Terminal software utilizes certificates to authenticate users, sign payment orders and encrypt transferable information. It is worth noting that digital signature can be put under the documents upon receiving persona certificate. The certificates can be stored in the client PC registry and smart-cards which constituted the most secure protection as it helps avoid certificate falsification. The smart-cards components are integrated in standard configuration of the Windows 2000 and Windows XP operation systems. These components are widely distributed for the earlier operational systems versions. In addition you may need to install smart-card reader.

Can I put a signature under the package of payment orders developed with Client Terminal?
Yes, you can if you need to confirm the payment orders developed with Client Terminal. You can affix the digital signature under each payment orders or entire package. The entire package of the payment orders is encrypted with the bank certificate and signed by the client personal certificate to pack the payment orders in so-called Digital Envelop.
