Personnel 339 people form the Bank’s staff, as of October 1, 2007. The average age of AUB’s employees is 32 years, 85% graduated from different Universities and some of the Bank’s officers have more than one higher education. Four candidates of science and 23 foreign specialists work at the Bank. AsiaUniversalBank gives a special consideration to manpower policy: the staff is provided with a high level of salaries and vocational education and training; all employees are given a considerable social package. The Bank’s employees attend professional development courses on a regular basis. The Bank has also organized a number of inter-departmental courses, at which the employees can share with the colleagues from other departments their immediate tasks and specific features of their work. Since 2004 the ongoing English language courses have been working at AUB for the benefit of the Bank's personnel. The priority principals of AUB’s personnel policy are the following:
The Bank has a soccer team and regularly organizes corporate team-building functions, including entertainment events with starring well-known national and foreign performers. The Bank has established and actively replenishes a corporate library, which allows the personnel to read the latest professional literature; in order to promote personal growth and development for the Bank employees, additional efforts to establish a fiction literature library has been made. Book novelties and classical works of literature are monthly purchased for this library.
